"Colombo Ride"-The first mobile game of its kind
Colombo Ride ("Colomba wate") : The first Sinhala mobile game of its kind has finally arrived. The game is available for free download on any network anywhere in the world. So join in and play the most anticipated mobile game in Sri Lankan history. The first competition to determine the top highscorers has ended. 7 finalists battled out for the top 3 positions on the 5th September at BMICH. Dasun Costa emerged the top gamer followed by Janith de Silva and Chamikara Rejinton. They received gold, silver and bronze medals from chief guest Sanath Jayasuriya. They also received top of the range valuable mobile phones. The remaining finalists Ranidu Nadeesha, Dilshani Bhagya, Dasun Ranasinghe, Supun Bandara and the top 3 gamers each received a 'Speed Wheel 3' racing wheel. These were given away by the guest of Honour Dr Ajith Madurapperuma (Senior Lecturer, former Dean, Faculty of Information Technology, University of Moratuwa). The prize for the biggest fan was won by Lasanka Dias. He recieved his prize from Sanath Jayasuriya. A valuable mobile phone was given to the biggest fan. With a bit of dedication, you might even come across bonus payments. So keep an eye out for them. Speeding can kill and is ill advised. The police will be on the look out for careless drivers. So drive safely. Find badges to get immunity if things do come to the worse. Story:Every journey begins with a single foot step, so it is no different here. Your first task is to find money to buy some educational books for your son who is eager to learn new things every day.After a long hard day, you earn the money and happily purchase the books that your son can't wait to read. The following day was going well until you hear about your friend meeting with an accident. Hence, money is needed by the end of the day to pay for the operation. Another hard working day and you succeed in finding the money needed to help your friend. All is well and you enjoy the rest of the week by going about your usual job of picking and dropping passengers. Sequel:All is well for 5 months.
