A review of the new song from Rihanna featuring Akon.

Rihanna (Born Robyn Rihanna Fenty) the 'Umbrella' singer and in the prime of her career as an Artist is one of the hottest artists in the industry at the moment. Her recent single live your life in which she featured with American rapper T.I, was a massive hit, both here in the UK and in other countries making it into the top ten in over 10 countries and number. 1 on the Billboard hot 100 list. Rihanna's third studio album 'Good Girl Gone Bad' is her biggest and best to date including worldwide hits like, Umbrella, Dont Stop the Music and Shut up and Drive, and with over 4 million copies sold worldwide.

So... is this new song everything that it should or could be?... yes, in my opinion it is.

There is alot of talk about Rihanna's forth album and weather it will live up too or be better than good girl gone bad, and if this is anything to jusde by then i think the new album will release just as many hit singles as her previous album. also rumered to be on her new album is a duet with 'boyfriend/fiance' chris brown.

Now as you know also in this single is Akon, Im sure this song would be a hit if it were released just because of the names involved, akon being a worldwide hit from the word Go, and his first studio album 'trouble' and he just keeps the hits coming and has recently released his third album 'freedom' which features some of the hottest tunes of 2008, i honestly dont know where he finds the time, with his major singing career going on, shooting music videos and writing songs for himself aswell as artists under his own record label 'Konvict Muzik'.

So about this song, the song is about a woman who thinks her boyfriend is cheating 'you bought some nike shoes, why you bying stockings?' this is where rihanna is singing. She also starts to sing about him being in hospital and that she wants to hurt him for revenge, Then towards the end Akon starts to sing and tries to explain himself saying that he hasnt been cheating on her, and that they shouldnt break up because of what the media industry will make of it.

All in all i think this song is great and could be a great summer tune for 2009 but of course it may not be to everyone's taste, if and when this song is released make sure you listen to it because if you like any of their previous work then you will love this song, i guarantee.
